#Dusk till dawn cast on netflix series
The series deepens the tone and expands the storyline of the film, adds new characters and backstories, and explores the Mesoamerican mythology behind the creatures inside the club. They are forced to fight until dawn in order to get out alive. Using the family RV to cross the border, chaos ensues when the group detours to a strip club that is populated by vampires. While on the run to Mexico, Seth and Richie encounter former pastor Jacob Fuller (Patrick) and his family, whom they take hostage. "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series" is centered around bank robber, Seth Gecko (Cotrona) and his violent, unpredictable brother, Richard "Richie" Gecko (Holtz), who are wanted by the FBI and Texas Rangers Earl McGraw (Johnson) and Freddie Gonzalez (Garcia) after a bank heist leaves several people dead. Returning are all leading cast members including Wilmer Valderrama, D.J. The Netflix launch comes on the heels of a recent announcement from El Rey Network that the series (the first original on the network) will begin production on season two in Austin, TX this October. The first season is already available on the Netflix service in itsinternational markets including: UK, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Canada, and Latin America. Based on the cult-classic film of the same name, the series from creator/executive producer/ director Robert Rodriguez (who has created such films as Sin City, Desperado, From Dusk Till Dawn) premiered on the Rodriguez founded El Rey Network this past March. "Beginning Tuesday, August 19th fans of "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series" will get a chance to experience the thrill ride all over again with the launch of the entire 10-episode first season on Netflix.
